TOTAL INCOMPETENCE!

My physician's office uses Meridian Billing. I had some procedures done that required me to prepay the procedures. My insurance was billed and I was to be reimbursed whatever insurance paid. I have been harrassed with bills from Meridian and even sent to collections when I have already PREPAID all medical serives. My last bill was for over $1100. I insisted that Meridian review my entire account and they found that I was OWED over $4000.00 in reimbursement. Additinally, my account was complete and would be closed. Well, one week later, I just received ANOTHER BILL from Meridian. Once again, billing me for things that I have PREPAID, had reviewed and gotten reimbursed for! I am beside myself and cannot seem to get resolution. I realize that patients have no choice as to what billing company is used by thier medical care provider, but this is the by far the most incompetent organization I have encountered.
